Prints

Essentially Ian works using a large format view camera giving a negative image of 4" x 5". He is keen to possess all his own negatives, because he feels a need to be involved in the whole process towards creating the print. All prints in Ian's oeuvre are hand printed by himself on the finest papers available at the time and processed to full archival standards on a de Vere 101 half plate enlarger. As he has been making photographs since 1968 a wide range of vintage prints are available on paper contemporary to the times through which he has worked.
